Est. 2017 · Neptune Beach, Florida

A Florida marketing firm for considered companies.

Melock builds brand, paid acquisition, and lifecycle programs for First Coast operators who would rather spend a year getting the unit economics right than ship a logo that goes viral on dribbble.

— Begin a brief —

The first call is thirty minutes, by phone.

No deck. No "discovery questionnaire." A real conversation with one of the partners about the program you're trying to build. We say no a lot — if it's a fit we'll know within the half hour.

01 · Disciplines

Three teams, one P&L.

Most marketing agencies organize around channels and bill you for the seams. Melock organizes around the three decisions that actually compound — and the people who own them sit twelve feet apart.

i

Brand systems.

Naming, identity, voice, narrative architecture. The decisions that decide what your marketing is allowed to say for the next decade. Usually a 10-week sprint with a brand book and a 90-day rollout plan written for your team to run from.

ii

Paid acquisition.

Meta, Google, TikTok, and the second-tier channels. Account architecture, weekly creative testing roster, monthly performance review. The unit of work is the iteration, not the campaign.

iii

Lifecycle & retention.

Email, SMS, on-site programs. The mid-funnel work where 60% of mature programs make their money. We touch your ESP, your warehouse, and your homepage — and we leave documentation behind.

02 · Operating cadence

Four predictable rhythms.

What a week, month, and quarter look like inside an active Melock engagement. Predictable, written down, and the same every time.

Tue · 10:00 a.m. ET

Creative review.

The week's drops, queued in your tools. You can flag anything in the queue and we'll adjust by Thursday.

Fri · 4:00 p.m. ET

Written status.

What shipped, what's queued, what we want your input on next week. Sent before close of business, every Friday.

Monthly · first Monday

Performance review.

90 minutes against the dashboards your team operates from. We bring a recommendation. You accept it or send us back.

Quarterly · 90 days

Strategic reset.

A one-page reset memo. What changed, what we got wrong, what we are doing next. Goes to you and to your board.

03 · The firm

Twelve operators, one office, one highway.

Melock was founded in 2017 by three operators who had spent the prior decade running paid acquisition programs for venture-backed brands across the eastern seaboard.

We are twelve people in a building on Marsh Point Road in Neptune Beach, twenty minutes from downtown Jacksonville and a long walk from the Atlantic. No remote-first hand-waving, no offshore production line, no "growth pod" pricing tiers. If you hire us, you know who is doing the work, because they sit at a desk we can point to.

We work with a small number of clients — usually seven to nine at any given time — and we are deliberate about who that is. Considered companies. Operators who take the long view. Founders who would rather get the unit economics right than ship a logo that goes viral on dribbble.

Average engagement length on the active roster is 28 months. We think that is the only metric that matters.

A look at the work, abbreviated.

i.
D2C · Coastal apparel · 22-mo engagement

Rebuilt a stalled subscription program after a 14-month flat patch.

Inherited a $9M run-rate brand with declining LTV and a paid program that had become a hamster wheel. Rebuilt the lifecycle layer from scratch, rewrote the post-purchase flow, ran a hard-cycle creative test for 90 days.

+58% subscription rate · +34% LTV
ii.
Hospitality · Resort group · Fractional CMO

Sat as the de facto marketing lead through a three-property expansion.

Took the seat as fractional CMO for a Northeast Florida boutique resort group through a complex year. Built the demand engine, hired the in-house director, ran a brand refresh and the digital relaunch. Stayed thirteen months, handed off cleanly.

Series B closed · in-house team of 7 built
iii.
B2B SaaS · Vertical software · Launch

Launched a vertical-SaaS product from naming through first $1M ARR.

From a working name on a whiteboard to a $1M ARR run rate in fourteen months. Naming, identity, regulatory-aware copy, paid program, and the lifecycle scaffolding. CAC settled at 28% under industry benchmark.
